PRE-K REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS: All preschool registrations must be confirmed with Jennifer Pasquali, Director of Preschool and Special Education. If you have not discussed your student’s enrollment with Ms. Pasquali, please email her at: jpasquali@newtonnj.org or call her at 973-383-7392 x4323. Once confirmed, please follow the online registration instructions below.

Registration for new students is online. Please see below instructions for completing this process. If you do not have online access to perform the online registration; please make an appointment with the Registration Office (registrar@newtonnj.org) . You will then need to submit the required documentation.

Public Notice – School Choice Lottery
The Newton Public School District will conduct the 2026–2027 School Choice Tier 2 Lottery on December 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Newton Board of Education Office, 57 Trinity Street, Newton, NJ.
This meeting is open to the public in accordance with the Senator Byron M. Baer Open Public Meetings Act.
All eligible applicants will be notified of their application status after the lottery has concluded.
