Registration is open for Newton Elementary Wrestling.  Wrestling is open to male and female students in grades K-8 who attend school in Andover, Green, or Newton.   Any questions please contact ebollette@newtonnj.org

Weekend Bag Program Volunteers Needed

Hello was hoping you could help us and share this info we were just given this opportunity to help the Sussex County State fair with parking assistance. If we can get 25 volunteers for each of the days list it, they will donate back to the WeekendBag a very sizable donation which will help us successfully start up this upcoming school year. Donations, monetary and product are not coming in and we could really use this help, we are now running in 20 schools and have an approximate count of 230 students beginning this upcoming school year with our first deliveries being September 20. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciate it. I know the fair has asked us to get back to them next week to let them know if we can secure the volunteers. .

This opportunity would greatly help The Weekend Bag Program team continue to fight to end juvenile food insufficiency in our county. We need 25 volunteers each day all day. For the upcoming 2023/2024 school year we will start in 20 schools and over 200 students will be receiving a Weekend Bag Each week.
