Shrey is a 10th grade NHS student that has been battling cancer since February 2024. He was on the football team and was a typical high school 15 year old when he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. It has been a tough battle for Shrey and his family.
A family acquaintance of the Patel’s, Helen Humbert, proposed to NHS administration an event that would partner NHS with her yoga studio to raise funds for the Patel family. Ms. Humbert is a local, certified yoga instructor and NPS parent.
With the Patel’s blessings, Ms. Humbert will lead a yoga session for Newton teachers, students and community members, with all proceeds going to the Patel family. We hope that you can join us for this most important cause.
