Newton High School will host a group of students from France, between February 23 and March 2, 2024. We invite you to participate in this school-wide learning experience by hosting a French student for the 9-day program. This is a cultural immersion experience - no French language skills are required to participate as a host. The teachers from France bring their students to the USA to enhance their understanding of how the U.S. has evolved and what it’s like to live the life of an American teenager. The students are also immensely curious about American high schools, culture, sports, improving their English, and even riding the big yellow school bus. This opportunity is open to all of our students. Join us in hosting one of these exchange students. This will build memories and connections that will last a lifetime! Please see the attached flyer for more information. We will also host a virtual meeting on Tuesday, January 9th at 7 pm to explain the program and to allow families to ask any questions at the link below ⬇️ https://meet.google.com/mkd-itvp-nvh. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact: Sue Boswell from Hummingbird Tours- Call/text: 978-835-0133 Email: sue@hbstudenttours.com or Kathleen Leone, Newton High School French teacher kleone@newtonnj.org.
