The French and Spanish clubs and several ELL students went on a trip to the One World Trade Observatory in New York City.
This trip provided an excellent opportunity for the students to learn about the history of 9/11 and interact with visitors from around the globe.
Students enjoyed the view of Manhattan from 102 floors above and even caught a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty.

**Motivational Monday Message:**
"Believe in yourself and take on every challenge that comes your way, no matter big or small. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
Have a great day, and stay BRAVE, Newton High School!

Congratulations to our BRAVES of the Month for September!!
BRAVE STUDENT: Harmony Wilkins- The guidance department had a new student beginning school and needed a peer to give a building tour. Harmony was approached to do the tour and she was wonderful. Harmony was excited to meet the new student and make a new friend. Harmony exudes what being a Newton Brave is all about.
BRAVE STAFF: Mrs. Clawson is the most patient, kind, and genuine teacher at NHS. She is always there whether you need help with work or just need someone to talk to. Mrs. Clawson always takes time to answer questions and is the perfect demonstration of a teacher who truly loves what they do.
