We hope you will join us for this fun Family Event, run by Center for Prevention, on October 25th at Newton High School!

Attention Halsted Families:
The Student Council is holding our first fundraiser of the year - the Gifts 'N Things fundraiser! Take a look at the catalogs to see some of the great gifts and food items for sale. Fundraising can be done online, or by using the catalog and paper order forms that are being sent home with students on September 14th. Thank you for your support!

This is a friendly reminder that C2C starts today!

Last week, Mrs. Oliveira's 7th and 8th grade classes did the Stacking Cup Challenge! They were only able to use sting and a rubber band to make a 6-cup pyramid/tower. Awesome teamwork, students!

Congrats to Barbara Straulina, Newton Education Association's ESP (Education Support Professional) of the Year! Good luck to Barbara at the county level! She will be honored at the Sussex County Education Association's ESP Dinner on November 15.

Please see this week’s events of the great things happening in our community! The events can now be found under the Community and Events link on our new website: https://newtonpsnj.sites.thrillshare.com/page/events

Attention Field Hockey Players! All athletes interested in playing field hockey this fall must have a sports physical turned in by Monday, September 11th. Other important season information will be distributed to prospective players at our meeting after school on Friday, September 8th from 2:45-3:10. Hope to see you then!

The Halsted Staff is so excited to start the 2023-2024 school year! Welcome, students!!! Let's have an awesome year!
